Why I left Modere for Essante Organics

by Leslie on January 1, 2015

If you have been a blog follower of mine for a while, you will know that I was involved with Modere prior to it’s Why I Left Modere for Essante Organicslaunch in February 2014.  Modere, built on the backbone of a company called Neways with a 20+ year history, was rebranded and launched with a line of safe, stylish, smart everyday essentials.   The company has some fine products, but after a lot of soul searching I made the decision that I was just not satisfied with products that were just considered ‘safe’.  I was looking for a company with a line of products that I felt totally 100% sure were not only safe for today, but would be absolutely considered safe in the future as well.  As we learn more and more about the toxins allowed in our makeup, beauty, and body products that are considered ‘safe’, I knew that I did not want average products.  Well…you know I desired extraordinary products that were guaranteed toxic and chemical free. Essante Organics was the answer to that desire.

Essante Organics products have the toxic free label on every product they sell.  Naturally you know that non-toxic and toxic free mean two different things in regards to how products are formulated.  A great resource to discover exactly how your beauty and body products rate in terms of toxicity is EWG.  Enviornmental Working Group is committed to safer families, and a safer world.  CLICK here to see how your products rate on the toxicity chart.  Once you see exactly what your everyday essentials are composed of, you will understand why I am so committed to introducing people to 100% organic toxic and chemical free products.

I chose to make the move to Essante Organics for a couple of reasons.  First, they are the first company to market 100% organic, toxic free, chemical free products.  Products like shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, as well as a 100% organic vegan, non GMO protein shakes that even my teenager loves! Essante Organics also has a line of organic, wildcrafted essential oils unlike anything else in the market. Our oils are 100% organic, with no heat applied ever during the distilling process.  This means that you are getting the most pure, most effective oils on the market.  The second reason I  made the move to Essante Organics is because the world is going green only once, and I wanted to be a part of the movement for healthier families, and a healthier planet.

The Essante Organics mission statement states:

Essanté Organics’ global mission is to create a positive impact on the planet and in people’s lives through the much needed education and use of 100% certified Toxic Free™, organic and wild crafted daily-use products. Essanté Organics’ mission is to partner and build deep and memorable experiences with our Field Executives and Customers, in order to help everyone LIVE FREE. CHEMICAL FREE. FINANCIALLY FREE. Join our Wellness Warriors in the most rewarding mission on earth: Providing 100% certified ToxicFree™, organic and wild crafted products to improve lives and enable personal prosperity.

What a fabulous journey to be a part of! Changing the World for healthier families, and a healthier Mother Earth!  To help everyone on the planet LIVE FREE. CHEMICAL FREE. and FINANCIALLY FREE.

The End of Days?

by Leslie on September 7, 2014

Happy Sunday!  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Mine has been a busy one, but I did get to enjoy a movie this weekend with my daughter.  We went to see If I Stay, and it was a pretty good, definitely a tear jerker.  The theatre was filled with women, and lots of mothers with their daughters.  Kate and I were laughing before the movie, as she was grounded this weekend for not getting her chores done in a timely (less than 7 days) manner, and I decided she needed a reminder of who is the Mom.  She was telling me that she was missing her friends as it has been 2 weeks since she has hung out with them on the weekends.  Last weekend she spent with her Dad, and this weekend with me hence the feeling of missing her friends.

Anyway I was reading an article today by Franklin Graham, the son of Billy Graham and the president and CEO of Billy Graham’s Evangelical Association and  Samaritan’s Purse.  The article titled, Signs of the Times, made me stop a think about what is going on in the world, and maybe what it all means.

The Book of Revelation in the Bible, is the last book that describes what is going to happen before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.   Have you listened to the news lately?  There seems to be an endless accounting of death, disease, earthquakes, flooding, fires, wars, famine, and evil in the world.  From Africa to the Middle East, and from Russia to the United States, the stories being reported everyday seems to signal that evil is rampant in this world and the future is looking very bleak indeed. Christians are being killed, beheaded, persecuted and labeled as something evil by believing in the God that created it all.   We have people killing people over a few dollars, and for rampant hatred.  We have people flooding our borders and demanding that we the people of the USA provide for them.  The Middle East is in shambles, with an evil group saying to Christians Convert or Die.

While looking for a quote to write about this topic tonight, when I read this quote from Billy Graham it brought me to tears.  I realized that I have no control over what happens in the Middle East, or on my borders, but I do have a choice in who I believe in.  God, my father, my savior, my redeemer and my rock in this crazy world has written the last story and the answer to everything is Jesus Christ.

People look to governments to solve their problems, but the only one who can lead us through the maze of life in Jesus.  and the only life manual we need is the Bible.  The Bible shows us the only way for a successful life, marriage, raising kids, our finances, and our careers.  Why do people resist the ways of the Lord?  What makes us as humans think we can do this thing called life by ourselves?  Why do we, when confronted by what is happening in the world not see and understand that the Lord is trying to get our attention.  Are we stupid, stubborn or just blind to what is going on around us?

My one thought, when I read this quote by Billy Graham,  was that I realized that all my faith and hope lies in the Lord.  I have always said, regarding my life, that I am so glad that someone a whole lot smarter than me has it all figured out.  I believe in the one true God, his Son, and the Holy Spirit.  I believe that Jesus is the one true son of God, who came to Earth to show us how to love, forgive, and to lead us to his Father for life everlasting.  Can you imagine a world of love, where there is no death, no disease, no hate, no war?  I can and it is beyond beautiful.

Let Go and Let God.  Repent your sins, Ask the Lord to forgive you and start living your life for an audience of One!  The only one that matters in this life is Jesus…he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

I would love to hear your  thoughts.  Comment below.

Happy Friday! Today I am thankful for freedom!  That word has really been making me think and contemplate the whole concept of freedom lately, and what it truly means.
